Summertime means time for Lost In Spice
Summer in the city. Summertime has started and we are all dreaming of hot summer days. Not only the temperatures rise, the temperature in our brewering hall also rises. The brew kettle is running at full speed and the hopgun - containing spices instead of hops - is working overtime. In the brew kettle: Lost in Spice, the summer beer of De Koninck.
Because summer time, that's not only an hour ahead on the clock but also time for Lost in Spice. So our summer beer is back and lets the sun shine in your glass with its spicy aromas and fresh citrus notes. To add the spice, our brewers use a rocket-shaped hop gun, normally used to dispense hops. This explains the rocket in the logo and the name 'Lost In Spice'.
Brewmaster Sven Dekleermaeker is already dreaming of a beautiful summer: "Lost in Spice is a fresh, spicy and summery beer. By adding extracts of ginger, cardamom, orange peel and lemon, I integrated my favorite spices into the hop gun. Now I'm hoping for a long, beautiful, hot summer."
